How to Get Started with Free Dynamic DNS Account?

Does your ISP only give you a dynamic IP address (one that changes from time to time and is not static)? Here are a few simple steps to follow to get yourself set up and online using No-IP’s free dynamic DNS service.

No-IP doesn’t have any access to the content that you are hosting. Create an easy to remember hostname and never lose your connection again. All you need to do is to:

Step 1: Create an Account

Simply click Sign Up at the top of the page.

Fill in the required fields on the new account form.
Once you’ve filled in the required information and agreed to our Terms of Service, click Free Sign Up at the bottom of the page.

Step 2: Confirm Your Account

In order to start using your account, you will need to activate your account via email. Simply click Confirm Account in the email to get started. Upon activation, you will be able to add/edit hostnames and finish configuring your account.

Step 3: Log In to Your Account

Once confirmed, you can Log In your account. On the top of the No-IP home page click Sign In, at the very top right of the page or Click Here to enter your email address/username and password.

Step 4: Complete Account Configuration by Adding a Host or Domain to Your Account

After logging in, navigate to Dynamic DNS > No-IP Hostnames, and create a new hostname by clicking Create Hostname.

At Create Hostname page, enter a Hostname of your choice > choose a Domain from the drop down. This will be address of your device after DDNS configuration. No-IP will automatically retrieve your IPv4 address. Finish the step by clicking Create Hostname.

Congratulations!! Your hostname is ready to be used.
